Let us serve you an absolute treat in these trying times. Boris Brejcha's “Purple Noise” is one of his most successful and popular tracks ever and in our opinion definitely demands an encore. Months later, after intensive brainstorming and the outstanding cooperation with the highly esteemed artist colleagues WorakIs, Moritz Hofbauer and Ann Clue, we can proudly present you this great remix EP.
The first time our jaws dropped in amazement was when we first heard WorakIs' “Purple Noise” interpretation. We'll go out on a limb and confidently claim to be talking about the “Anthem 2021”. And once you've heard this musical journey for yourself, it doesn't sound so far-fetched. In any case, WorakIs sets new standards in storytelling with this dramatic and incredibly expressive sound experience.
Moritz Hofbauer continues seamlessly with a wonderful rollercoaster ride through atmospheric expanses paired with gripping percussion elements and a bold bassline. It's the impressive versatility of his remix that makes it stand out so much.
Ann Clue, an important companion of Boris for many, many years, enchants us with her interpretation of “Purple Noise”. While on the one hand she lets the buttery-soft lead melody glide through wide spaces full of peaceful and harmonious atmosphere, at the same time she trusts in her skill at skillfully implementing driving rhythms.
